The Red Umbrella Diaries is a monthly live storytelling series in New York City at which people who’ve tangled with the sex industry tell true stories about the complications that arise in the mix of sex and money. Interested in telling your story? email us at stories@redumbrelladiaries.com.

Audacia Ray has produced events featuring sex workers’ stories at Happy Ending Lounge on Manhattan Lower East Side since August 2009, and the Red Umbrella Diaries has existed in its current incarnation since July 2010.  Nearly 100 people, who are currently and formerly involved in the sex industry, have told their stories at the events in front of cumulative hundreds of live audience members.
